Faculty Course Materials Services
We are proud to partner with faculty in sourcing digital and print course materials to support your students. Whether you have a book list prepared, have original materials, or need support liaising with publishers, our Course Materials Services team is here to support you in preparing the materials needed for your courses.
Order Your Textbooks & eBooks
Submit your list of book requests and our team will liaise with publishers to ensure they are available for your students. Multiple format options are available for books—including digital and print. Order your textbooks 90 days prior to term start to allow sufficient time for delivery.
Build Your Custom Course Book
Original course materials, such as lecture notes, lab manuals, and practice exams, can be compiled into a custom course book and added to students’ personal book lists. Contact us to learn more about available options, including support to help offset production costs.
Following the 2022 Supreme Court ruling, responsibility for secondary source materials now resides with Western Libraries. This change ensures students have free, reliable access to required readings through the Western Libraries Course Readings Service. The Bookstore continues to support faculty by producing custom course books that include original course content or materials that require publisher royalty payments for use.
Request Open Educational Resources
If you are looking to include open educational resources in your course materials, we are here to provide access and incorporate them into each student's personal booklist. Speak with our team to learn what open educational resources are available, and to start integrating them into your course.
