A Special Order is an order for a book that we do not stock or is one that is currently sold out. It can be a current publication, or an Out of Print book.

We sell our books at the Canadian suggested list price as set by the publisher. In the case of books ordered directly from the United States, the Canadian list price may fluctuate depending on the value of the Canadian dollar. If you require a quote, please e-mail us at specialorders@uwo.ca and we will provide a price for you. The final price of a book is not set until we receive and are invoiced for the book, so this price is approximate and is a guideline only.

Complete the Special Order Request Form with as much information as possible. The more information we have, the more successful our search will be. We will email you as much information about the book as is available to us. If you wish to order the book, please call us at 519-661-3871 or email us at specialorders@uwo.ca. We only ask that you do not send any credit card information via email, as it is not secure.

Once your book has arrived, we will call or e-mail you to inform you that your book has arrived. You are always welcome to call, email, or visit the store to inquire about your order.

Please try to pick up your book at your earliest convenience or arrange with us to have it shipped to you for a minimal fee.

Special Orders may take two to five weeks to arrive. While they may take less time, they can also take longer because they are out of stock at the publisher or distributor, the book needs to be ordered from an international publisher and/or the publisher has a minimum order requirement.
