Across campus and internationally, many current students and Western Alumni are making an impact by starting entrepreneurial projects. Whether it’s a passion project that is pursued between classes, or on a full-time business, our Western community is dedicated to supporting and celebrating these entrepreneurs through a variety of initiatives.
At the Book Store, we’re proud to be supporting these innovative, skilled members of our community in a variety of ways. We offer opportunities to Western retail-based entrepreneurs including dedicated retail space in the store and mentorship providing valuable expertise surrounding inventory management, merchandising, sales, and marketing. We also provide and funding through a $1,000 annual contribution to the Propel Seed Your Startup Event.
The Good Paws is a local dog accessory company, founded by Western varsity basketball alumni Beckie Williams. Our accessories include bandanas, scrunchies, bowties and more, from which a portion of each sale goes towards local animal shelters.Visit Site
