Retail Operations Update

The Book Store is open for in-store shopping and pickup. Please see STORE HOURS for current hours.

IN-STORE PICKUP & DELIVERY OPTIONS: You may choose in-store pickup or residence delivery (for students living in residence, starting January 10) for orders that meet a minimum spend of $50. If using in-store pickup, please follow the signs and use the Student Health Services hallway to access our side-doors to pick up your order once you have received confirmation.

Safety Precautions

To ensure the health and safety of our customers, staff and campus community, we have implemented a number of precautionary measures:

  • Store hours are posted HERE.
  • Limited capacity - measures will be in place to monitor the number of customers in the store
  • All customers and staff are required to wear face coverings.
  • Safety practices will be in place, including plexiglass shields in customer-facing locations
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided at the entrance and throughout the store
  • We will have enhanced cleaning measures in place - more frequent cleaning and sanitization of high-touch surfaces
  • Contact-less payment methods are strongly encouraged.

What are the store’s operating hours? Is in-store pickup available if I order online?

Will there be any changes when I shop in-store? Will I be able to use your fitting room?

The store will have capacity limits posted. If necessary there will be a queue in the hallway towards the Social Science building.

Please bring a printed copy of your textbook list, so a staff member can assist you with finding your course materials.

Will there be any physical distancing and cleaning measures in place?

We take our direction and instructions from the government and local health authorities, as well as our campus health experts. 

Enhanced cleaning in the store is also in place. This includes more frequent sanitization of high-touch surfaces and equipment in the store. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance and throughout the store for customer use.

How long will it take to receive my online order?

We are taking every precaution to create a safe environment for our employees. As a result, processing orders may take a little longer than normal.

We’re doing everything we can to get your orders to you as quickly as possible.  After you place your online order, you will receive a confirmation email that we have received your order.  You will receive your tracking notification once your order has been shipped or is ready for pickup.

Are you accepting cash?

To keep our customers and staff healthy, we strongly encourage the use of contactless payment methods, such as tap with credit or debit cards, or Apple/Google Pay using your phone. However, we do support cash payments.
